Jan-Willem Hoste is a Belgian entrepreneur and expert in photonics engineering. He holds a PhD in photonics engineering and has over ten years of experience in innovation, deep tech, and venturing within the medical devices and biosensing sectors.

Throughout his career, Hoste has held leadership positions at companies such as Mycartis and Antelope Dx. Notably, he co-founded Antelope Dx, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, leading a development team of 40 individuals and successfully raising over €20 million in venture capital and non-dilutive funding.
